Tim has been working in finance for over 25 years, initially working in audit for Moore Stephens and Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in Guernsey. He also spent over a decade working in the Investment arena on both the stockbroker side and providing investment consultancy services to trust companies and pension providers. Tim leads the PTC Group and oversees the management of a wide range of specialist pension products, ranging from International Pension Plans and Employee Benefits schemes focused towards large corporates and International clientele to bespoke pension arrangements for private individuals.
Tim is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager. Tim is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds the Diploma in International Trust Management.
Paul has worked in the finance industry for over 30 years bringing with him a broad experience in both working with high net worth individuals and major corporate clients. As a manager of a multi-jurisdictional office, he moved to Guernsey in 1995 to head the local office, taking charge of the CI operations after a merger between two UK insurers in 1997.
Paul was also a director of a number of financial institutions based in Guernsey with considerable experience with the development, administration and promotion of International Pension Plans, RATS, QNUPS, QROPS as well as trust and company structures.
Paul is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, holds the Diploma in International Trust Management and the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction.
Paul has worked in the finance industry for over 35 years having initially worked in retail banking with Barclays Bank, before moving to work with high net worth clients in Barclays’ trust company and going on to hold a managerial position at MeesPierson, then leading the trust team at HSBC in Guernsey. In 2003, Paul moved to a privately owned fiduciary services company located and regulated in Guernsey, where he joined as a director and as an equity holder in the business. He has gained significant experience from working with high net worth individuals, families and corporate clients in the provision of trust, company and Foundation management services, principally in the UK and Europe but also has experience of structures for southern African, Asian and Latin American clients in which time he has also gained experience of working with banking and investment institutions in those areas as well as in the USA.
Paul has acted as a director and personal trustee for a number of client business entities and family succession planning structures. In 2019, Paul sold his equity in the privately owned business with a view to reducing the range of demands on his time and concentrating on his preferred areas of experience.
Paul joined the PTC Group and was appointed to the Board in January 2021.
Paul is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, holds the Diploma in International Trust Management and the STEP Certificate in the management of Foundations.
Mark has worked in the Fiduciary industry for over 30 years and has significant experience in all aspects of Trust and Corporate work.
Mark was born and educated in Guernsey and started his career with Ernst & Young initially preparing accounts for local businesses and then working on the audit team. He moved into the Fiduciary industry in 1985 and has held managerial positions for over 25 years and over 15 years at Board level. His most recent board appointment involved assisting with the redevelopment of long established Guernsey Fiduciary business and subsequently negotiating the sale and integration of the client business with another local Trust Company.
His background will help the business as it continues to expand its client service offerings.
